PCD™ Queer Support Groups: Enrolling Now for 2026!!

Hi friends!

It's that magical time of year!

My Purity Culture Dropout™ Queer Support Groups are OPEN NOW for an early January 2026 start! These groups are my most sought after (dare I say iconic?) offering, and they only happen once annually.

Doors opened to the waitlist a few days ago. If you know you want to join us, now is your chance to get the best pick of dates and times.

These groups sell out every year so please take this opportunity to secure your spot!

Purity culture presents challenges for everyone, but the challenges for queer people (queer as in either gender, sexuality, or both) can be complex and especially challenging.

Maybe you felt like you are discovering this part of yourself "too late." Maybe you aren’t even really out to anyone but yourself at this point.

Maybe you’re married in a partnership that looks straight to the outside world, but you know that isn’t the whole story.

Maybe you're divorced/divorcing and know that exploring your queer identity is one of your post-divorce goals.

Maybe you feel anger and grief about having a delayed understanding of your own queerness due to your religious upbringing.

Maybe you desperately want queer community, but don’t know where to begin.

Maybe 2026 is the year that you’ve decided to embrace being more authentically yourself- and that includes queer identity. (Which feels scary in the current American political climate).

These things are EXACTLY what the groups are for. We explore these topics and more, with a custom curriculum that touches on key issues that being LGBTQ+ in purity culture raises.

Topics we explore include:

  • Coming Out
  • Identity Formation
  • Family
  • Community
  • Shame
  • Pride
  • Queer sexual relationships and dating
  • Queer Imposter Syndrome and Internalized Homophobia
  • And more!

The PCD Queer Support groups are one of my favorite ways to work with clients. The groups are healing, but also SO much fun. Seriously, we have a blast.

As someone last year said about the group conversations, “they were safe, but also really fucking funny.”

What you can expect:

  • A supportive group environment with less than 9 or less members
  • 1.5 hour meetings once per week for 8 weeks
  • A variety of days and times to choose from
  • Community support (everyone keeps in touch outside of group!) in group chats that are often still going strong years later
  • Guided discussion on a variety of topics related to being a queer person with a purity culture background.

If you are worried that you aren’t “queer enough” for these groups…(am I in your head??!), don't worry- you are, and we focus on exploring that sentiment.

Don't miss out - sign up now!

I can't wait to meet the new cohort, it's going to make my early 2026 better as well. :)

If you have any questions, I am happy to answer them. Just reply to this email and I'll get back to you ASAP!

I developed the Purity Culture Dropout™️ Program to help people learn all of the sex education that they missed growing up in purity culture- sex ed that is accurate, queer inclusive, trauma informed, compassionate, and comprehensive. I have worked with hundreds of people to help them learn about healthy sexuality after high control religion. Subscribe if you're curious about / invested in shame free sexuality education that's specifically tailored to the needs of people coming out of high control religions and purity culture. Expect information not just about healthy sexuality and upcoming programming, but also cultural commentary on sexual politics in the US. I'm a sex educator with 25 years of experience and I'm excited to share that with you.

Hey Newsletter Friends, How are you all doing? Exhausted but taking care of yourselves? Terrified but managing? Losing your shit but somehow still hanging on? Yeah, that's about what I expect. One of my fave online therapists, Dr. Lauren Fogel-Mersy, shared some really important info this week. She's based in Minneapolis. She writes: A gentle reminder that if your coping skills aren’t cutting it, that’s because all the regulation strategies in the world can’t fully offset these global...

Hello to everyone kind enough to invite me into your inbox! I'm in a promotional period with these support groups so thank you for your patience if that's not your jam. The Purity Culture Dropout Queer Support Groups enrollment ends very soon. I'd like to add a few members to the Thursday at 9pm ET group before we launch this week! My proposal: if this date/ time works for you and you want to join this group but feel a financial strain, I will work with you on a price and payment plan that is...

Happy New Year! (And Happy Birthday to my mom, a New Year's Day baby, who reads all of my emails and is my personal reason for celebrating. Love you mom!) I rang in the new year in quiet fashion in my own home because I came down with an illness. I was supposed to travel to Texas to be with my husband and in-laws but alas, here I am in Philly where it is 20 degrees F instead of 80. But I can't complain. I am sad I couldn't travel but I am really making the best of this situation. I actually...
